Kaplan Medical How to go through Kaplan Lecture Notes!

hello! ok quick question to those of you who have read all the Kaplan lectures notes. I just started a couple weeks or so ago. I've almost completed the anatomy book, but it seems as though i have forgotten a lot of stuff. Was wondering how you guys go through this?. Did you re-read and take short notes.. because i think that may be time wasting. Or did you just re read the notes over and over again?. Just wanted an input on how you guys memorized it all!. Thank you!..

Correct Answer

Kaplan it's a good product for preparation of USMLE step 1 because have video courses where you have a possibility to get any new clues and add right in your book, and of course have online qbank that is noted in First aid as a second in a quality qbank, you ask how to remember so much information/// hhh answer is simple repeat and repeat and again repeat, another way is just for who have excellent memory and fix all in first read time....

i know what you mean, i finish a chapter and though i understand whats in it, i freak out thinking I don't remember a detail in chapter 3. I started making summary notes at the end of the chapter -- next to the books chapter summary. i tried to keep it minimum (since it has to fit on that page) and its helpful in that i can just look there instead of rereading the whole chapter. BUT, its taking me a long time. im still on neuro of the same anatomy book and i started studying 2/3 weeks ago.

um i wanted to get the kaplan done faster (didnt work out so well) so i saved doing questions till i atleast finished the anatomy book. MISTAKE! im doing awful on the questions (10/27 questions whattt). so do questions as u finish a topic -- like when ur done histo, do the histo questions!
