Question Number of questions to get right to get 250?

How many wrong answers can you get on step 1 and still break the 250s?

Nobody knows the answer to this question.

The USMLE questions might have different weights, so if you miss a difficult question it's different from missing an easy question. Also there are experimental questions that are not counted.

The only official information from the NBME is that you have to answer 65% to 70% of the questions to pass the exam.

If you walk out after block 1, does it count as one attempt?

Yes it counts as an incomplete attempt and is reflected in your transcript as well.
