I disagree NEED ADVICE.Revison of kaplan or just go through FA several times?

hey guys.i finished my first read of kaplans with videos.except patho.for that i am doing goljan and pathoma.after that i plan to do FA.COULD YOU PLZ TELL ME IF I SHOULD REVISE WHOLE KAPLAN(WITHOUT VIDEOS) or i should jus go through fa several times.
My exam is in DEC.i am really in a dilemma going through kaplan lectures again just scares me.but i dont wana mess this up so asking for your opinions.also i DIDNT consult any review books till now like BRS for physio or high yield anatomy,MMRS.should i go through them instead of kaplan now for the final revision or jus read FA several times.or should i stuck to kaplans.PLLLLLLLLLLLLLZ reply soon as il make my schedule accordingly.thankyou.

Default Hi

Hi, If you're aiming for a great score, then u have to start doing Questions now! I may not be in the best position to tell you how to go about it, but If you're a forum stalker like me u'll realize that there is no Best or ultimate material for study for any subject and (FA + all the qbanks available as learning tools) till 2day, is still the highest of yield! So since you've finished Kaplan... start with FA and do question banks (if you are confused about a particular topic then u can look it up with kaplan or any other material for me i use wikipedia and medscape if kaplan is insufficient) yea sounds crazy! but it working for me!!

let me refer you to a post

i know and i think i wont repeat them rather concentrate on FA and UWORLD,thats what i am thinking il do.But still wanted a second opinion just to be safe.many people say you have couple of months on hand so just breeze through them.. and some say do FA time and again..its so darn confusing.but thanks for reply

thankyou,il finish up my patho after that il do FA and questions mostly.where ever il find difficulty il refer back to my notes.what do you say??i have still got 3.5 months to go.might jus add MMRS and BRS physio to the list.they are easy to read and retain.though i already went through kaplans for them once.your opinions?? thanks a lot for the link.

it's up to you, you know whats best at this point but i still maintain that doing questions are of the essence and finishing a qbank is quite an undertaking... . I have my step one about the same december'ish and right now i've finished usmlerx (With FA by my side) and more than halfway through uw (with FA still by my side)...after then i will still do kaplan (stll with FA by my side) and redo all three banks once or twice again b4 i'm set... That what i'm using my time 2 do instead of learning things again and again from overt materials which i may not at the end of the day b able to apply to questions and still Forget them.
