well,it's bettr to get 2012.....though there r only few changes from 2011...2012 is good with colourful pictures.....u can get 2011 in pdf too now, so bettr to buy 2012 and get 2011(for if any reference) in pdf......i'm dealing with it in the same way (bought 2012...and 2011 pdf...)..
but if u already bought 2011 edition book...then i think u won't need to buy 2012 again

Depends on when your exam is.. If your exam is next year then I suggest you wait for sometime and get the 2013 edition when it is out. If it is this year then go for 2012.. Though there might not be many changes in 2012 from 2011, there is a reason why 2012 came out

As for DIT.. I am one of those guys who never liked DIT.. Totally upto you to believe what you believe.. personally I felt it was just a waste of time!

I doubt if you'd be able to do it in 15 days.. Cuz you'd spend about 6-8 hrs watching the videos, then you'd have to read atleast once all the stuff discussed that day which would take more time..
But if you can retain everything discussed without having to read, then yeah, you will do it in 15 days

I also have 2011...I have written a lot of stuff in it...Even one of my friends gave me a brand new 2012 edition , I just can't go with it,As I have annotated 2011.

By the way it doesn't matter...There are very few changes anyway.
