I think the videos should be done twice. It's so easy to remember what he says that you can probably even do it without the text. It's also only 35 hours, so you could literally do the whole thing in 4 days. The first time through should take about a week.

have you done patho from any other source or just pathoma? i think 2 or max 3 reads are enough.i dint go through his text i literally jotted down everything he says in videos including diagrams so that i can recollect easily what he said.so il revise those notes only.except for figures for that ofcourse il use the text book.

Have you done Pathoma at all? If so, then the 2nd and 3rd read/view of it should be fast. When I said 4 days, I meant 10 hour days, only pathoma. It's still very short, and interesting, much like Goljan audio. Dr. Sattar's book is also an easy read.

I think hoor is right, he already mentions everything in the videos, i may just jot some notes down as he speaks which will take longer, but you'll learn more effectively.

I plan on doing Goljan also....Not sure if this will actually take place because I plan on taking my exam on December and I still haven't done any qbanks.

However, what is a must is to at least listen to Goljan's audio. You can combine Pathoma and after each relevant section, listen to Goljan audio following along with his book to see some of the pictures. This is what most likely i'll end up doing. I did it that way for Neuro only, and it was golden because they both approach things in a different way and they make FA real easy to read and learn.

i'm planning to do pathoma over goljan b/ c like i feel goljan is way too detailed and too much to read from like last 2 months of my prep???

whats everyone's opinion? should i do pathoma 1x w/ video and then read again just notes???

and just do the goljan hy audio notes or just listen to goljan audios but not read his book???

b/ c i did like 2 chapters.. i just listened to his audio.. never read every word of the chapter???

GOSH I'M SO LOST... SO CONFUSED WHT TO DO

hehe we get more fatigued by these worries than the studies itself i think il end up listening to his audios.already doing pathoma last few chapters left.and may be go through goljans flash cards at the end.thats about it.what did you decide?when is your exam ?

Its better to study from Goljan first to get a brider scope of knowledge and then go for Pathoma 2x as adviced here.
