Listening Maybe a good advise

Hey everybody,

this is a great forum at I am reading it daily to grab more and more informations.
I started preparation about a month ago and I have read a lot of topics from people who scored high.

When I took my local state exam (3years ago) I did a couple of huge mistakes I want to share

- I had about 2-3 books for every subject; e.g. 2 1000 page books for Physio and one small with 200 pages. The one with 200 Pages was more than enough.
- I did questions banks by just clicking through -> you should definitly take notes from all answers.

My advise/my plan for now:
- why not keep to one or two single sources. I believe if you know every single word from First Aid you will be able to master Step1 easily.

Right now I am going through Kaplan Videos and notes and doing some annotations in my First aid. When I am done with all of that I will go through all different Questions bank doing the same and putting notes in my FirstAid or some sheets. In my opinion it is best to have everything important in one single source, I am not a fan of going through different books. I memorize most of my stuff by visualisation, so I can now easily remember Page 109 in First Aid with all the notes I have added from the Videos.
There might be stuff missing in FA, but if you "pimp" it up using Kaplan Notes/Video, Goljan and Questions bank e.g. you will be prepared more than enough.

That's just my opinion; does anybody work the same way?Any suggestions?
