Smile Fadyhennawy Exam Experience (9/4/2012)

1st of all, I'd like to thank everyone on this awesome forum cause u've helped me a lot.

Well, I may not be organised cause its my 1st time to share such an experience, so I'm sorry if I forgot something.
I don't know how good/bad I did AT ALL, probably because I can't remember any of the questions now, which is causing me painnnn.

However, I'd talk in short about my exam day:

1st, I reached the center a way too early (7:50 am) which wasn't a good thing;I stayed for about 2 hours till I was called to sign-in which would've added a lot to my stress if it weren't for the extracurricular talk I had with 2 of my friends taking the exam with me.

I signed in to the testing room, and started my 1 block after checking the headphones.

I was at the peak of my stress at the 1st block, but it started to fade out at the 2nd one.

Most of questions were dependant upon FA and UW, but not all of them were direct forward, however.
I don't remember a certain chapter being stressed upon in the exam, but I feel that every single topic has been covered well through out the questions.

The exam as a whole was definitely easier than UW, but the hard questions were really HARD
My advice is that when you meet a problem that needs calculations and would take some time, Solve it at the moment as long as you know it, do not leave it to the end of the block, because at the end you would be more stressed and it would be tougher and take more time.

I marked 5-10 questions/block that I wasn't sure of my answers in them.

I took 6 breaks 5-10 min each with chocolates and juice (I drank a lot actually)

I started to lose focus at the 6th block,,the 7th was a bit easier cause I knew it's the last one

Now I'm being tortured as the questions come across my mind 1 after the other, hope this ends soon

Waiting for the score report

Best of luck to all of you

Thank u

Yes,FA & UW are enough for MOST of the questions, that's what I've felt at least
However, there has to be some few questions per block that are non-sense

When my score is out,I might be able to tell what's the score u can guarantee just by doing FA & UW,cause my preparation is almost like yours

Be CONFIDENT,don't panic and u'll do great isa
Best of Luck!

Default tiny question

sorry man i have additional question,

during the last FA revision b4 the exam, i guess any FA revision would at least exhaust 7-10 days, which means one will enter the exam with stuff he didn't revise for at least 10 days,

if this was the case with ya, how did ya feel when questions came from these 10-days old chapters in FA?

i know concepts and stuff, but still there still this mysterious volatile hazy fog that encircle the chapter of FA when it gets old

plz any advice regarding this?

I've read the FA twice before and twice after I finished the UW,about the last 2,the 1st run took 10 days, while the 2nd and last run took exactly 2 days..however that time it was kind of a pain cause u wanna read it as thoroughly as u can and @the same time u HAVE to turn the page off
I think thats how u can be having it all fresh on the exam day

Good Luck bro

congratulation
I hop you will get the score you aimed to

Do you mean that you did not use any material except for FA and UW?
How could you manage to understand the FA???

Lots of thanks

My 1st study was built by watching KLN dvds and reading the corresponding FA chapter,
Except for Microbiology,Pharma and Pathology(FA only)..and I think those are well covered in the FA,unless you know u're weak in 1 of them.
Then I started to read the FA again, every single word, and solving the Q&A book, then reading FA again, then started UW

BTW, I noticed that they're still giving s 2 digit score? I thought they said they won't be giving that anymore.
