Correct Answer

forgot to answer this one..

yes, the correct answer is A) able to grow in bile

it's the unique property of streptococcus bovis(gp.D streptococci) along with enterococci making into unique group

enterococci-----able to grow in bile and 6.5% Nacl
gp.D streptococci-----able to grow only in bile not in 6.5 %bile

other options----

B) able to soluble in bile------feature of streptococcus pneumoniae...hence,it's not able to grow in bile

C) able to grow in 6.5% Nacl--- enterococci
D) able to grow in 10% Nacl-----staphylococcus aureus
E) able to hydrolyse hippurate------beta hemolytic gp.B streptococci(streptococcus agalactae
F) optochin resistant-------alpha hemolytic streptococcus viridans group
