Question Should I take a NBME self-assessment exam before starting UW?

I did all the reading, and finished Kaplan Qbook
What do you think?

Smile My story

I did exactly what you want to do.
Finished Kaplan Notes, Kaplan Qbook and jumped to NBME Form 6.
It predicted a score of 180 which is a failure

So then I started doing Kaplan Qbank and when I finished it I did NBME form 3 and this time it predicted 200 which is much better.

Now, I started doing UW and will be doing NBME form 7 and UWSA after I finish it and hopefully my score will be even better

Hey Perla,

So, I should do some UW before taking a NBME, I guess. I haven't been very good at Kaplan Qbook actually; getting around 60% only right, though I heard it's pretty easy.

Btw, what are those different NBME forms?
And, do u recommend doing Kaplan Qbank in addition to UW?

Thanks.

Yes, I think you should do Kaplan Qbank before you do UW. Then when you finish both of them you will be at your top.
