Default it will help revising FA

If you use one month before exam to revise FA DIT will help you get more out of FA. But last 15 days stick to revising UWORLD .

I am planning to do DIT with FA after finishing first read of Kaplan notes with videos.
Is it advisable that I read FA and watch DIT in parallel? will 15 days suffice?
Is DIT really worth the time?

i have been doing dit 2012 and have only 3 day left till the end. did 8 lectures a day and boy that is hard it requires to go over 30-40 pages of fa daily.as you can assume you must do at least once Fa before starting it. i find dit very helpful since, i can't remeber all the drugs and some other forgetfull stuff. the positive thing about dit is that they don't talk things that are not relevant for step I. They are purely oriented on your step I and make you memorize things.

they have quizes at the beginning, middle and at the end of each lecture. also there are 530 questions with video answers.have done nbme before dit and going to take it after it. majority of students report that they improved their nbme score for 10-15 points after dit course, this is simply because you remember more than you remembered before. they don't add additional many stuff to fa, around 90% of course is identical to information given in first aid,but again you are actively studing it.

i think that dit is last lecture course to do before exam, make sure that you leave about 10 days before exam to review FA once again.( or twice )
i really liked it. It's not just a guy standing and reading Fa to you
