Question Pass NMBE AND Fail USMLE

I recently took my step 1 and fail. The thing is that, before taking my test, like everyone else I prepared and took the NBME examination to see where I was, I was pretty confident due to the fact that I scored ton #7-260 on #13-280 and #11-290.
But I didnt passed the real test.
Does anyone has experienced or hear about any similar situation? Because I feel kind of curios, what if.. what if.. right?
Thanks for your comments guys!

Are these NBME scores (scale 210 to 790 or so) or are these the predicted three digit step1 scores.

I think you misread your NBME scores as the 3 digit scores of Step 1. You have to convert your NBME score to the 3 digit score using the table that is provided in the score report. According to that table, your scores actually were 165, 170 n 172 which are below the minimum passing score.

But if this isn't the case, then you should go for a recheck.

When you write an NBME they usually provide a CBSSA score, however they also provide a chart with 3 digit scores. It seems as the though the OP utilized the CBSSA scores.

Wow really sorry about that. You did misread the score interpretation. Well now you know, and you can work towards getting a better score. That is why forums like these are good because you find out so much stuff from people.

I was freaking out when i saw you got 290s and failed...I was about to give up too...lol
