Unhappy frustrated and losing hope

hi guys.
to cut a long story short , i have finished one read of kaplans , and path from goljan .
started uworld a month back , so far finished 72% of questions .
doing random untimed.
my cumulative has been stuck at 55% for the past 15 blocks with no improvement , its the same case in individual blocks scores . its like every block in uworld has so much new information and concepts they test .
i remember my seniors telling me uworld will repeat questions in a different manner that you will end up understanding that concept over and over again, but trust me , i seriously dont feel so. they also said by the time you finish 60-70% of qbank u should score a cumulative of 65-70 % to make sure u get a good score in the final test .
uworld is killing my hope and i feel like all i studied was an utter waste so far.
for eg the other day i came across a question of on co-relation analysis, and they actually asked the calculation, and i remembered dr daughtry saying they never will ask you to calculate , just recognize the graph when presented .
everyone who has given the exam recently please give ur views on how you found the uworld qbank ,what were your scores as you progressed, and did ur read of kaplans help you . coz if it did, i think i need to read it all again .
exams is at end of this month and im planning on giving an nbme before that to see if i need to postpone the exam.
though each day is a let down when you finish the block and see no improvement in ur scores

plz dont use uworld to assess ur prep , its for learning concepts.. learn as much as possible from u world..take notes..MARK IMP QUESTIONS finish it once, and then take n nbme online... after thAT do FA and then revise all marked/ incorrect questions frm uworld... take an nbme , ull do well.. i personally felt uworld was harder than exam.. there are lot of concepts in uworld which r nt der in kaplan, some of those are covered in FA.......... i did subject wise uworld , as ur seniors have said therte is repitition of concepts, probably coz u r doing random u r not able to appreciate it .. dont loose ur heart with u world scores , its just another study material like kaplan and FA , learn as much as u can frm uworld

Step 1 is a very extensive exam ,getting low scores in uworld does show holes in your knowledge .Or your knowledge may be fine ,but there is weakness is being able apply your knowledge.
If You really want to improve take your time and do kaplan qbank ,some Qbook like first aid Q&A or NMS Q&A .
also while doing Questions from these sources, keep learning from first aid and reading from wikipedia as much as you can .
Step 1 is very very important exam ,take your time .
Getting good scores in uworld ,nbme and main exam requires mastery in topics , sadly casual reading do not help .
