Drug Which Statin can be given with Clarithromycin?

A 50 year old woman is given clarithromycin for an infection. She also has high blood cholesterol and her doctor recommends a statin. Which of the following statins is the safest to give to this patient:

A) Atorvastatin
B) Simvastatin
C) Rosuvastatin
D) Pravastatin
E) Lovastatin

Since other statins are metabolized by Cytochrome P-450 and chlarithromycin is P450 inhibitor...This will increase statin in the serum...which will cause statins toxicity ,which cause myopathy and hepatitis.

Would go with C,
Clarithromycin will increase the level of other statins by inhibiting their hepatic metabolism

I googled And found out that pravastatin's metabolism occurs in the stomach to produce active metabolites and is not metabolized by famous cytochrome p450 system like statins !!
