Default How to go about neuroanatomy?

I have just started studying neuroanatomy from KLN and integrating it into FA (trying to follow the Taus method). It's going rather well but there are a few chapters (brain stem for instance) that go on for 30 or so pages, while the material in FA is 2 pages max. So is it unnecessary detail in KLN or is FA just too short??
I would really appreciate it if anybody could tell me the important stuff to do in neuroanatomy. Please also tell me where I should do the MRIs and CTs from.
Thanks in advance

I am using HY neuroanatomy, FA and BRS physiology (Ch.2 - Neuro Physio). I had read KLN but was not very satisfied with my level of understanding. I recommend the following two websites for MRI and CTs (that is what I am going to use as I start neuro next week)

http://isc.temple.edu/neuroanatomy/lab/index.htm

http://www.info-radiologie.ch/en/abdominal_ct.php

someone had recommended these sites over time and I think they are really good. All the best with your preparations.

I hope this helps.

Wink NA prep

Najeeb is a good resource to tackle abstract areas like the brainstem which require collateral and sideways thinking. highlight and punctuate target topic on steps via Kaplan and first aid. it's a no miss tactic….
