Offline NBME interpretation

Doing off-line NBME forms, I get 38 to 42 questions correct out of the 50 questions set i.e. 76% to 82% ( with CI 95%, ). could someone explain the prognosis? Will I be ok to take the 1st Step?

cheers

It is better to take at least one NBME online before exam because it is more reliable and accurate

If you take NBME offline, you can predict the approximate your score by multiply the nubmer of correct answers by 1.38.
e.g if you have 170/200 correct answer ... so 170*1.38= 235 three digit score.

Best of luck
