Which of the following would best distinguish an otherwise healthy person with severe water deprivation from a person with the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH)?

(A) Free-water clearance (CH2O)
(B) Urine osmolarity
(C) Plasma osmolarity
(D) Circulating levels of antidiuretic hormone (ADH)
(E) Corticopapillary osmotic gradient

Yeah that is the actual answer but i got a little bit confused since in brs says that SIADH causes a x2 increase in ADH, i think goljan also says something like that but i guess the most logical answer would be C but then again the ADH response wouldn't cause a decreased plasa osmolarity like SIADH?
