hello ,

are you completely done with u world?? if not finish it and later review again. Don't freak out with the % in each tests. keep doing it . you can take NBME once you are done to see if you need to postpone exam date.

Dude never evaluate yourself by UW score. Its just for getting ready for type of questions. So Just keep on doing questions and review stuff side by side (if you have time).
Once i took only 10 questions for a block just before sleep and got 2/10 that means 20% and next night got 9/10. So its matter of stuff u remember or stuff you not. So last thing you can do to yourself is discouraging yourself with these scores. So next time just do a block and figure out which stuff u are lacking most and try reviewing it.
Few days before we talked about UW and NBME questions. read them. It might help.

HI there, definitely do not gauge how prepared you are based on UW scores, instead the purpose of the Qbank is to LEARN the material... You should finish the entire QBank before you even consider sitting for the real exam, as well as taking a couple NBME's in order to determine your strengths and weaknesses, then using some time to improve on those weaknesses. In fact, you should take an NBME now in order to pinpoint your weaknesses so you aren't wasting time in the coming weeks.

My advice for using UWorld effectively is to perform the blocks 46q's at a time in timed mode, in order to prepare yourself for the real time-crunched exam feeling. Then, take notes after you've finished each block and use those as one of your study guides.

Based on NBME's, you should determine whether your are ready based on those results... If you have any particular area that is in the 'lower performance' range, take a week or two in order to bring up each of those weaknesses.

Best of luck!
