This is how RR Pathology words the difference:
b. Primary TB
(1) Subplural location
(a) Upper part of the lower lobes or lower part of the upper lobes
(b) Ghon focus (caseous necrosis) in periphery
(c) Ghon complex (caseous necrosis) in hilar lymph nodes
But, I recall that a Ghon complex = Ghon focus + hilar lymph nodes. Goljan describes them both distinct, but I thought that the Ghon focus is just 1 part, which makes up the Ghon Complex. That's how its described in First AID.
btw, i've been reviewing for 10 hours straight. Am I being too picky right now? I think I need a break. Yup.
