Is it alcohol--- liver damage--- dec estrogen metabolism--- gynecomastia ?

yes, yall are correct..........................alcohol is the correct ans.........besides being most common substance of abuse.........
one more thing.........do u recall the use of amyl nitrate???????

It is used in cyanide poisoning

As I remember intensity of murmur also varies with use of amyl nitrate
Amyl nitrate--- venodilator--- dec venous return---- heart murmur intensity dec except HCM and MVP.

Please cross check...Chronic alcohol is CYP 450 Inducer NOT Inhibitor...Acute alcohol is an Inhibitor....But the reason for Gynecomastia here is that liver damage leads to decreased Estrogen metabolism leading to gynecomastia...I dont think its related to CYP450 induction or inhibition...
