so your predicted online nbme 13 score was 245, but u still managed to fail the exam twice?

am i missing something here? u should have rocked the exam. did you have exam anxiety? when finishing the exam, did you generally not feel confident?

something is not adding up, but i can't imagine failing twice, with a 245 predicted score. or maybe i'm not reading something right.

i've just started my prep. hope others can give you some advice.

you need to study during day time , and focus more on questions.

you live in the US or India.

How old are you ?

you got 245 out of 600 questions that is the problem. you need to get like 500 or above questions right

oh i see. so i was mistaken then. i thought the predicted score was 245.

so how do these predictive scores work then? do they automatically tell you?

if you got 245 out of 600 questions correct, then obviously your predicted score should be a lot lower?

but isn't 600 questions a lot for the test?

anybody know what am i talking about?

you have already made mistakes by going for the exam.
nbme of 245 correlates to 162 in real exam and you need 188 to pass.

i think you should start with kaplan lecture notes and videos or better do Dr najeeb videos since your concepts are weak.
dont rush it,the videos are long but it will pay off.you can get them on utube or go to their website(i think its just $110)
practise with uworld, dont just solve the questions but read all the explanations to the ones you get right/wrong.
you should be ready in 12months but most importantly,do online nbme and atleast score a 500 befor sitting for the exam.
goodluck

I am not sure why but you keep posting different things. Different scores.
Then you say you want to give up and decided to do something different.
In your next post you are asking for suggestions on how to get 220-230.
So what is it you want?

You need to make a post when you are not all nervous and jingly and calmly explain what you have done so far (chronological order would be best): what you have studied, which NBMEs, timing (!) and when you took your tests.
What you posted so far kind of sounds bipolar and you are just posting very confused posts, different scores all over the place, giving us different scores on your NBMEs, eg NBME 7.
So please take the time to fill us in.
When do you want to give it a try? I hope it is not september like you said in the top of your last post, because you will want to spend some time really preparing!
