I would get a recheck. It's not normal to score so well on qbanks and NBME and then drop on the exam.

Definitely get a recheck and explain all that went on.

Good luck.

Bro it is sad to hear this.. definitely go for recheck... but is it possible that usmle allow their students for recheck option as far as i think they wont change the given result b/c psychologically it was their disrespect that they didn't mark ur score correctly & they have errors in their system, as far as i think any international exam governing body never accept theirs mistakes... & last one what will be the procedure for go for recheck & what is the fees for this procedure
Good luck & definitely go for step 2 u will ace ur exam

Dude its really a bad feeling to know about someone havng such a bad luck, but i am of the feel that usmle involves a sheer amount of LUCK along with hard work, 8 hr exam is really tiring and if you have just an hour of bad luck you are finished!!! i really wish you good luck for step2ck& cs, you ll ace that definitely, moreover if there is an option of recheck (which i am hearing from you for the first time) do go for it!!!
