Cool Weakest and Strongest Subjects

My weakest = Anatomy and Microbiology

My strongest = Physiology, Biochemistry, Behavioral, Pharmacology, Pathology

I swear, I absolutely HATE Micro and Anatomy. I can't even put it into words, how much I hate those two. I barely scraped through them in med school. I'm starting my review with both Anatomy and Micro first, and then going to do the others, in probably the above order too.

Does this seem like an ok order to do? Right now, I'm tackling Anatomy AND Micro right now. Anatomy in the day time...and I browse through CMMRS every night.

Once I finish getting through anatomy and micro, my review is going to be nothing but downhill!!!!

Anatomy: histo/gross/neuro (Kaplan)
Microbiology: CMMRS (GOD I HATE MICRO)

Physio - Kaplan
Biochem - Kaplan
Behavioral - Kaplan
Pharm - Kaplan
Pathology (Goljan)

Anybody else here hate Anatomy/Micro as much as I do?

I loved anatomy in undergrad, but I'm not liking it much anymore for boards. I just think it's very time consuming because in my case I need to read and look for a pic of what they're describing preferably an atlas and this must be repeated at least 3 times to really memorize it.

My favs are the same one as yours. And yeah, micro sucks. Pretty much anything that you have to memorize without any logic to it sucks.

But....C'est la vie.

I dont mind micro.

I hate anatomy. I hate repro too (ovarian tumors especially).
Biostats starting to feeling better with after high yield.

Everything else I feel I have a good grasp at.
Maybe random physio calculation problems too...

that was nice to vent

exactly! i've always enjoyed learning, and whenever i have something to memorize, i use to do it very quickly, because i get irritated with rote memorization.

but now i have no choice, there is no escape. i have to just memorize a lot of micro/anatomy, without rhyme or reason, and i hate that!
