Default How long it will take to memorize First Aid in detail?

How long it will take to memorize First Aid in detail (word by word)? Ok before you guys say that a bad idea, I know but I am just wondering if its possible to memorize first aid in detail. I am not talking about just reading through but I am talking about reading every point in detail so that when someone asks you a topic from first aid you are able to recite all the info. So how long will it take, is it even possible? And if you can are you guaranteed a 99?

I think you're asking a subjective question , so you're gonna get a lot of different answers , for instance it'd probably take someone like my self about NEVER to memorize it , but I know a friend of mine that can memorize the whole damn thing in a week ( no kidding ) !!

I could do that in 1 month, month and a half. But I'm also very slow and I get distracted easily and slack off a lot. So it would take me like a month if I really focused all my energy into that. But it is very subjective and only you know how long it can realistically take you.

And yeah, btw, I don't think it's the best approach. I can read something and learn it well enough to answer questions in the same manner that I would had I memorized the whole thing. So IMO it's overkill, but if it helps your confidence...then proceed with it.

FA is only 60% of exam, so If you memorize it, and you don't know the concept behind each topic or word, then not only you will not get 99 or 250 you will NOT PASS!

Default Not that straight forward!

The best way to go through First Aid in detail is to use it along with the review books, and thats going to take some time. So it all depends on hour many hours the individual is putting into study on a daily basis

Without the help of my kaplan review books and others...it would take forever, because that would be pure memorization.

But I find that understanding, and knowing the concepts first, takes a lot of memorization out of the equation, and First AID becomes a lot more easier to read, once you are familiar with the concepts.

I actually like your question because thats what I am doing right now, I have been study for a long time now, I saw najeeb videos, took a curse that my school provide us, saw DIT, and study from other books. Since I'm so close to my test I just want to focus in memorizing th FA every word on it, I have notice in q's even if u now the dx and the fisio the q just ask u that little detail that is in the FI that u didn't memorized because u though it wasn't that important since u know so much already. Well I think every word in the FA is fair game, is there for a reason.

But to answer ur question I calculated if FI aprox have 525 pages without the rapid review (which I think is helpful too) and I want it to read it in 8 days. I have to memorized 65 pages per day, so that will be aprox 5 pages per hours. I started 3 days ago and so far so good. keep in mind that I have read FI almost 4 times so some pages I go througt quite quickly, others take me more time. I start at 6am and finish at 8pm. Because I do questions too. If I keep it up it will take me 8 days. Hope it help u, you should try it one day, plan how many hours are u going to study and how many hours do qs will take u. From there u can calculate how many pages u can memorized per day.
