Default Quick Question -Syringomyelia and Arnold Chiari

I have a quick question and still am unsure after searching the forum/online. FA Errata says Syringomelia is associated with Arnold Chiari Type I.

Kaplan says it's associated with Arnold Chiari Type II

Which is the correct one or best answer answer if seen?

Thanks so much.

In both type 1 and type 11,there is tonsilar herniation which leads to syringomyelia BUT the herniation in type 11 is so pronounced that its accompanied by myelomeningocele and paraplegia.

Hence, pxt presents with headache with loss of pain & temp.alone is type 1 while syringomyelia, paraplegia, hydrocephalus etc is type 11
