this is almost my last journey study for the step 1. This step 1 have taken lots of time to study, almost 1 year. I feel i am ready for the test but my NBME score is really crazy or inconsistent.
NBME 7 198 (3 months ago)
NBME 12 203 ( 2 months ago)
NBME 11 203 (2 1/2 months ago)
NBME 13 224 ( 3 weeks ago)
NBME 6 217 ( 3 days ago)
NBME 5 235 (1 day ago)
free 150 questions 87%
Uworld second 80%
tomorrow i will have my exam step 1, let see the challenge how doable or tough the step 1.

The exams is really crazy and very tough. My Exams i got lot of questions statistics and doctor&patient relationship. Physiology question is really weird and i never find in NBME or uworld or any kind qbank. Biochemistry is really tough. pharmacology is easy. This test more difficult then any kind of NBME. This test is really need your Perfectionist understanding about the concept, and i think First aid doesnt really help for my test but Kaplan Note help little bit. Uworld help little bit for my test. Statistic question are really new and i never find those question in any NBME or Qbank. There are lots of new concept about pathophysiology.

Dude, i gave my step1 today. i dont agree with you completely.. Although the questions are tough and weird, every concept is interlinked somehow. You might get very "few out of the topic" questions which you need to answer wisely. And most important is First aid and UW covers most of the topic. What we fail to do is to interlink and apply the concepts. Step1 wants to know if we can apply our knowledge.. so they switch questions and ask you the same concept... Hope you get a good score. good luck and take care.

Is the test anything like the free 150?? Because those are easy...
Or more like nbme and uworld? Did you guys finish the blocks in time?? Im guessing if it was difficult it would take longer on each question... ?

i think i wont get the good score. The concept i think it really new, i never find it in NBME or uworld or other qbank. Especially biochemistry&biomolecular. i got 10 questions doctor&patient relationship. Statistic calculation is really tough, they serve it by weird graphic i never find it any qbank of course it takes my time to analize the graphic and take the summary is it significant or not

@ Dr SK.
Its not like the free 150. Its bit too easy. The pattern is same but questions might get tougher.. You can predict the difficulty level similar to NBME i believe.. I finished my blocks in time but you need to be quick. few questions are lengthy.. If you do a practice test before giving a real exam then that would help in managing time.. So good luck, do well...
