Default Planing to take step1

Hello... I hope you are still reading and following this post.
I am a 32 years old IMG. I graduated from medical school back in 2007 . I am a USA resident who just finished a master in molecular biology and micro in USA.
I don't have clinical experience in USA but I have plenty of experience in research and have published 3 papers and won some prices for my research. I was thinking in getting my pHD however, I also keep my dream to work as a physician in USA. So before I take the pHD path I would like to try again the steps. Wait, I also took step 1 in 2008 but I miserable failed. So here I am trying again for step1 investing all my time
I started to study on January 2013, I am half way off reviewing all the basic books for physio, biochem, anatomy, patho. I have left micro and pharmacology.
Sometimes, I get frustrated, today is one of those days!!! that I feel what I am doing. I read all the blogs where some old IMGs dont get any MATCH and others that said they got a MATCH. Do I really have a chance? How are you doing? How did the tests went? Any advice, any words of support?

Don't be depressed at all and if you have started prep then go ahead and don't be confused.. I couldn't focus fully on usmle prep as was giving my membership exams...I am not a fresh grad anyway,so don't mind if I take a yr or two more
best wishes and keep posted

Hey Hild go ahead, you are in good shape, having your master degree and looking for more, you have good credit, and 2007 graduation is not that far
take your time and ace it, nothing to loos but gaining.
Match is malty factorial.
good luck
