Thumbs Up Just a tip!!

For those are done with Basic Science and start studying for Step 1, here's a tip:

1. Do UW entirely and keep doing it.
2. Do Usmle rx qbank. This qbank reinforces you on what you read/understand FIRST AID.
3. MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF QUESTIONS. This will help you a lot. Not joking.
4. NBMES - Do form 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13. You can download these and USE IT AS LEARNING TOOL AS WELL AS UW. If you got more time, then do form 1 - 4 as well. The more questions you do the better understanding you will have and the less WTF feelings you face.
5. Pretest. Yes. Do those as well after reading First Aid and UW. You will feel confidence.
6. BRS Physiology QUESTIONS only.
7. Do free 150 NBME questions as well.

Want to read? Read FIRST AID and every explanation of every questions you do.

Dear Dr. Ali

Thanks a ton for your valuable suggestions. What you said really makes sense since doing as much questions as possible raises your confidence level.

Just a question. Are the answers in offline NBME reliable? How can you check the authenticity?

Thanks again.

Do you mean that BRS Physio isn't good for step 1 as a studying source instead of Kaplan

When doing offline NBMES, the answers for most part are wrong. So, how to figure out which is answer is correct? Do UW 100%, and read First Aid. Eventually you will know which answer is correct one.

You can always listen to his lectures. Reading his book will take a hell of time. But, you can still beat pathology by doing UW and First Aid. You can also do WebPath questions and other questions related to Pathology. Suppose if it is your weakest subject, the more questions you do, the weaker becomes your strongest.

BRS Physiology is an excellent source. But doing the questions along will strengthen your points.
