Default Unsure of what to do next! :(

Hi,

I plan to give my Step 1 sometime in February. Not sure of the date yet because I haven't been issued my scheduling permit and haven't booked a seat in Prometric.

Anyway, I'm almost done with my second read. However, I feel like I'm starting to forget the things I read at the beginning. I plan to read the material once more before my exam.

I did Kaplan Qbank, but I left it halfway because I didn't like it. I scored 67.8% and completed 58.2%. I started UWorld last week but I'm doing very poorly. I finished 30% of it but my overall score is only 61%

I also took an offline NBME 12 last week and got 211

My question is: how can I improve?? I know this question has been discussed many times in the forum but I feel like I've already done everything that everyone has suggested.

Pls help. I'm starting to doubt myself

Do you think I'll be prepared enough to give the exam next month?? :sorry:

First things first....FINISH UWORLD!! make sure you take notes....After that, give a cover to cover of FA (with the UWORLD notes you made), and take another NBME, but online this time, and see how your doing.

Good luck, and hope it helps.

Thank you for your reply. I will definitely do as you say. However, I feel when I read physiology and pathology related stuff in FA, I forget the stuff I read in BRS physio and Goljan. I can't seem to retain stuff! I think this is my main problem!!

Brain transplant anyone??

Well, for Path, if you have about 10 days to spare, i would suggest you go over the PATHOMA videos....i liked them a lot, and helped me with path.
