Help How to prepare for Step 1 Images?

Hi,

While doing questions from UWorld, there are several questions which have images (CTs, Xrays, MRIs, histology pictures, microbiology images) and I can almost never identify them. I am currently going through goljan slides, and a separate website for radiology images, but despite that, my performance in this area remains poor. Obviously, this affects my overall performance and I score poorly on the UWorld tests. Any ideas how to improve?? It's so frustrating!!

Webpath has good histo slides/CT's and MRI's. There's a lot of them but try to familiarize yourself with the big ones. They've got explanations at the bottom of each slide here

Goljan's slides are also popular, you'd have to ask around for those or simply do his Rapid Review book.

I've also heard of some people going through all of Uworld's CT/MRI questions and making a powerpoint presentation for all the images to review the last few days before the test.
