Listening Am I doing good? I need your support.

My current UW score is 61% correct. I still have 45% of the qbank to do. I have 2 months left of prep. Btw, my UW scores were pretty bad at the beginning (around 55%), but now they're around 65-70% per test (timed, unused, random).

Is this good enough? I don't know why but I'm running out of energy somewhat.

Any suggestions as to what I should do in addition to doing UW and reading FA (I'm not reading it that often, though )?

I haven't taken any NBMEs. Should I take any now? And what form?

Thanks a lot.

You surely have gotten above the passing marks and possibly plus 90 scores. Maybe this thread might answer your query better in terms of UW score :

Then what should I be saying? In my last topic yesterday I said similar things (I started with 40s, not even 50s!)..
I dunno if that's normal, and if that will get you the desired 65+ in the cumulative eventually, but I think IMHO you are making progress here.. So don't give up now!

If you got 55% at the start of UW, then thats doing really good.

your 2 months out, the end is near, you need to start picking up your pace and kicking out more questions.

Take a NBME online in the next week. Do form 1 or 2.
About 2 weeks away from the exam take form 6.

if you pass form 6 with a score your happy with, then go take the exam.
if you don't pass with a score your happy with, then push the exam back

You should also be using your First Aid more. You are coming into crunch time and you need to always be reviewing and understanding.

Its important to know that from this time out, you will be freaking out a lot and thinking you haven't done enough to pass. Everyone feels this way, you are not alone. Keep the wheels going, focus on what you want to do in a day and follow it and everything will work out.

Cool

You are doing great, Keep your eye on the prize! now that you can see the finish line do not slow down, but plow through it like a bulldozer(OK maybe more like a bulldozer made by Bugatti or Ferrari)! Kick some Step 1 butt!

keep reviewing the material I know it gets hard to keep on looking at the same material over and over again....lemme give you a recommendation if you want to consider it, its up to you. I've started making online flash cards and when i get sick of studying the book I start looking through my online cards....some websites even have memory games with them, and some make it so it is with spaced learning (whatever you know will show up less often, whatever you don't know will keep on repeating)....couple of the websites i've found are "flashcardexchange" and "flashcarddb"(flashcard database)....so make your online flash cards and run through them, the way I look at it we're gonna have to stare at the computer screen for 7 hrs anyways, might as well get used to it

good luck, study smart and hard

Default About flashcards

I have FA flashcards on my Palm mobile device, but they're outdated (2002 version). I got them many years ago. I also make my own flashcards on the same program (called SuperMemo), but ironically I don't read through them as often as I make them! I agree though that it's much more interesting than reading books. However, I must say reading FA over & over is still the most high-yield. So I think I should just go through it again.
