Help Can't see any rays of hope

I am an old grad passed in 2007 from russia and cleared my FMGE exam of india in 2008 and completed my internship in 2009 since then i am into job and keep on thinking about my dream to do IM from USA.
But due to lack of motivation and visa rejection in past i was in doubt , so with lots of courage i started studying for step 1 i gone through kaplan once but i am still not able to recall most of the topics, may be because of my poor memory and lack of focus toward life. So i extended my slot and march is the last month to give step 1. And just after that i meet with an accident and end up with gamekeeper's thumb , its too hard for me to write and typing too. I am avoiding surgery too. as i save money and time for step 1 . But i Think i will loose this battle.....
till date i haven't finished BS Micro Neuro Ant. static and two months left. I am thinking of getting UW 2 months subscription and do things in retrograde .
But sometimes i feel to waste the money and study again and take new slot . As i know ECFMG will not return my money on medical grounds too.
I AM NOW TOTALLY CONFUSE WHAT TO DO ... ITS SO DEPRESSING FOR ME ....SO DEPRESSING ..I CAN'T SEE ANY RAYS OF HOPES...

NEED A SERIOUS SUGGESTION FROM YOU ALL GREAT GUYS.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

No one can motivate you more than your own dream. If you truly want to become a doctor and help people, you will get yourself together and study. Spending $1,000 is not a waste. You will get all your money back once you get a residency. If you cannot pass the steps due to lack of motivation, think about residency. It is not a joke. You will also have to study and work 80+ hours with no sleep, and manage to pass your exams. Just passing steps will not get your medical license. It is a hard work.
I graduated even before you did, I work full time, have family with 1.3 year old girl and still study. I did extend my eligibility period but after taking NBME, thinking I should re-apply for the exam as I am not getting even close to the score I want to have.
Advice... Just follow your heart and your dream.
PS: if you seek sympathy- you get it from all forum people, just remember everyone go through it, and you will have to go through it too.
