I don't know about tutoring, but this is what I think u should do

1. See what were u weakest topics and what you don't understand about it, is it basic physiology? well then I recommended u to watch Dr. najeeb videos of that topic, it can take time.

2. Never stop doing questions, do it without the book, then with the book write every answer you got wrong and read the ones you got right, along the explanation there is always something we don't know.

3. Study the First aid again, make sure you know every word on it

4. Take an NBME

What did you get on the real exam? What were your NBME scores before taking the actual exam?

You should definitely take an NBME to assist your weak points and your strengths. Then you can focus your studying based on that. Take one now and let us know how you did.

Was it useful for u ? I mean the najeeb videos ? Did u do qbank simultaneously ?
N regarding NBME , I m scared to do it now n check where I stand as I feel it might bring my confidence down , as it really took me days to build my strength after failing step 1 in jan . This I feel I would do NBME once I complete my prep .

N did u take notes simultaneously while watching najeeb videos ? How did u master CNS , it's so volatile . Tho najeeb has nailed the CNS concepts , I still keep forgetting . I never knew CNS as good as I know now after watching his videos . I regret as to why I dint learn CNS nor understand it well in my UG days .
Could anyone please specify as to how many times u brushed thro goljan , it's so time consuming n did anyone learn it page to page .

I know taking a NBME is scary for fear of failing again but how will you ever know what your problem is. Right now you are studying without much direction. Taking a NBME will direct you. Let it be your baseline. From there you will be able to use your time wisely and focus on the things you need help in. We are here to help you. For example, if you are weak in Patho then read Goljan and listen to his lectures. If you are weak in physiology, then read Costanzo Physiology. YOu can take Northwestern Medical Review. A lot of people who failed end up going there. YOu will be in a class surrounded by other people who failed. YOu help each other. Good luck!!

Default Step 1

The Dr najeebs videos helped me to understand the basic concepts that were in first aid. For example, after watching his complement video , I read first aid and it was so easy to read it and understand it.As soon as I watched Thelper cells in immunology, I would goto first aid and read that. Also the cardiac cation pump was easy to understand after watching his videos, those are some examples.Regarding the volatile CNS videos, I diddnt make notes ,because I wanted to concentrate on watching and understanding the videos.

after I have forgotten the cns videos(lets say after 2 weeks), I went back to the point where the diagram is in the video and I listened to around 10 seconds of his speech. That helped me to remember what I forgot. The main thing is to study intelligently.

I did 40% of kaplan qbank beofre studying anything and but my marks were low so I started Dr najeebs videos.I did not return to the Kaplan q bank, but instead I went straight to U world. But dont do U world until you know first aid word for word. I suggest you do the NBMEs after studying completely.
The main thing is to combine Dr. Najeebs videos and First aid.

Do you have the Kaplan videos?

I dont know about others but from my experience, all I can say is do questions repeatedly, may be some 150 a day and learn from them..Go for uworld questions, kaplan Q bank etc...Try 2 understand what they're actually asking about and what they want from you ..They ask about the same concept but in a different way (This is what I feel)..so try 2 know those different ways.

As I can see you already read enough but u r not able 2 put it in exam..Sitting and reading doesnt help you with your scores but learning from your mistakes wil give u the best knowledge and gud scores.FA will help you for sure as 80-85% questions are directly from dat book..Hope this will help u..All the best.!! I wish u get high scores this time..!!

3 months is enuf, u can go for more time too ..Give 2 tests a day in uworld and learn the topics from that so that u'l know wat r high yield..Then do some couple of offline tests if u have or go for kaplan tests...Many of my friends scored 550 and above just by doing 3-4months of questions only after completing kaplan material in 2-3months...Wen u have gone through most of the possible questions and clinical vignettes in your tests, then where can a new question come for u in the exam.? This is how I thought during my preparation...

Anything is possible with hard work and effort, and thats all you need to do. Give it your all and keep your eye on the prize, and help will come from where you could never imagine.
I also think you should take an NBME to have a baseline to work with and also to get an outline of your weaknesses, It will help make your prep more focused and allow you to assess your improvement over time. Do as many ques as you can, I personally found qbook very helpful for the "most likely' type of questions.
Good luck and dont give up hope!!

Yes it possible to get 99 if you study inteligently.I suggest you to continue with Dr Najeeb and read first aid around 6 times. I just remembered.....when I was watching Dr najeebs videos after every section, I would rewind and revise the diagrams so it was like a short revision. It only took a few minutes.

Default step1

You should do U world twice. Either you can redo the questions the second time or you could re read the explanations again.
Regarding goljan rapid review, I found it useful. But I think its better if you leave it till you study more basics.
