Firet of all tell yourself you can ace the exam, then focus on your weak areas ,for me i used pathoma and brs physio as those were my weak areas. undertand the concepts then do questions from uworld inthose areas to see how much u have grasped.try using usmlerx cos it helps master FA.I know how you feel cos i also postponed my exam and had to pay alot of money...but at the end you will forget all that pain...lol.In all i used FA,pathoma, brs physio,DIT.hope this helps.

Got my score! [255], I am very happy. I did very well in all subjects less behavioural science. I post my study experience:

- Total Time: 3 Months

- Books: Goljan Pathology, Kaplan Lectures Notes, BRS Physiology, BRS Behavioural Science, and other less important sources

- QBank: Kaplan Step 1 Qbank (Average: 75%)

- USMLE Free Sample: tooke it 2 weeks before (93%)

The best advice that can i give is to study hard to cover all the subjects and really understand concepts. I did not have a lot of time, this is why I did quite bad in behavioural science, because i did not study well that subjects, so i guess that my score could be higher.
I enjoyed study for this exam because it was a great opportunity to review all the basis of medicine. So take it as a chance and not as an obstacle.
The real exam is very performance-dependent, a lot of question and concepts were not in any study source. It is all dependent on your concentration capacity and it is very important to arrive rested the day of the exame.

So thank you all for the priceless advice that i found on this fantastic forum. Good luck, see you soon for Step 2 CK.

Thank you!
I did not use First Aid neither UWorld QBank, mainly because i did not have enough time. However i bough First Aid but i dont like it very much.
I used 1 book for each subjects, as follow:

- Anatomy-Embriology-Histology: Kaplan, and Gross Anatomy Rapid Review
- Physiology: BRS Physiology
- Biochemistry: Kaplan
- Microbiology and Immunology: Kaplan
- Pharmacology: Lange Pharmacology (discourage you to use this book, is too big! but is very detailed), and a little bit of Kaplan
- Behavioural Science: BRS Behavioural Science
- Pathology: Goljan Pathology

Goljan is probably was for me the most important book to prepare exame. I Know prepartion is very subjective, probably i could do it better using also UWorld Qbank and First Aid.... but i think that i get a good score in a relative little time
Feel free to answer other questions, good luck!

Check your spam, sometimes the mail might end up in your spam folder. Also sign into OASIS on the ECFMG site and see there if your score report is available.

If the above fails, wait till next wednesday, and if your scores still have not come out, i'd suggest you give the ECFMG/NBME a call to find out.

Thank you for your reply. I keep checking OASIS online since this morning. No available report is there. I'm so scared.

Nothing to unduly worry about. I read the other thread you started just now too. Be patient and wait for another week and your scores should be out. Just hold on till then
