Question What should I do next?

Prometric sent me a confirmation of my exam date as later than the one I signed up for on the website. Of course I have no problem with that. I need all the days I can get lol. Anyway, now I have about a month left before the exam.

I did UWorld questions (my average is 73%). I took NBME 4 and got a 540. I'll take NBME 5 in a couple days. I'm going over UWorld questions again (the old tests I've done to see my mistakes and review the content). I'm also reviewing Goljan RR and First Aid. I want to get around a 700 on an NBME before I take the exam. (I know that's a huge jump from my current score but I have a tendency to get nervous and jittery during exams so I want a nice NBME score so that I'm sure of my knowledge level going into the exam.)

I'm not sure if I should do another question bank my last month like Kaplan. I signed up for quick prep questions but their questions are SOOO easy. Maybe because I've already done UWorld so I don't want to waste my time doing those questions. Advice please? Am I on the right path to a good score? Is there anything you wish you had done differently during your last month of studying?

By the way, thanks for all the help and guidance over the past couple months. You all are awesome!

Thumbs Up 580 in NBME is enough for the 99 guarantee

You are on your way towards the 99 score.

You don't need to jump your NBME score to 700, 580 is enough to guarantee a 99, unless you are looking for a super three digit score (See this table).

Definitely doing question during this month is of paramount importance and if UW has been exhausted then you can take UWSA 1 and 2 and all the other NBMEs that should take you at least 7-10 days.

If you still need to do another Qbank then I suggest Kaplan Qbank or USMLE Consult as both of these banks are difficult enough to shape you up for the exam.

Keep up the spirit and don't forget to come back here and tell us how you did

I agree - 580 is awesome. With a month left your challenge will be to not forget stuff. - Kaplan or Consult are good from the reviews but it sounds like you should probably go write it as soon as you can

Good luck - looking forward to reading a 99 story
