Neuro CSF accumulation in various parts of the brain

Hi there - does anyone know if CSF accumulation varies in location with various diseases for example aseptic vs. bacterial meningitis?

I seem to have made notes on a question about this in Kaplan's qbank - but I no longer have access to the qbank and I don't have any references. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or should I just cross it off and forget about it.
