Unhappy Please give me your honest opinions.

I failed Step 1.

I started this USMLE path because I found myself in love with an American citizen. We are currently working on my immigration paperwork.

He has supported me with this first exam towards becoming a US licensed physician. By failing this exam, I know I have failed him, too.

I have always hoped to be a family medicine practitioner. Now, it is my wish to be a practitioner while building a family with my husband. Is that too much to ask now?

Study again? Take a few months off? What should I do next?

take a month off and start off fresh. i don't know how did u prepare and what did u prepare with. So, take advice and start fresh if u still want to be a practitioner....All the best
