Default How much better is Kaplan Physiology than BRS Physio?

I've been through BRS Physio a few times, and I understand it very well. But Kaplan seems to go into more minute details, I've noticed this especially in the Cardiology section with all those loops!

Would it be a good idea to go over Kaplan Physiology?

Ive read kaplan physiology and done the questions from u world. I think whatever questions that are asked in u world is sufficiently explained in kaplan lecture notes.

I have not studied kaplan but BRS physio seems to be very good ..... specially with respiratory and renal physiology ..... every time I hear this that pick one review book and go through it from cover to cover if its insufficient in few topics it will be covered in uworld .... I hope this is true

It depends on how much time you have and the level of understanding you previously have .....if you have enough time go for the kaplan notes with DVDs dont do it without dvds that will take much time to understand ...and also if you are generally weak in physio then definitly go for kaplan ....

but if you have less time then i would suggest there is no other better book than brs to study physio ...it is compact ,high yield and easy to read book ..... my suggestion would be ,if you have enough time, go through kaplan initially and then sticking to brs + FA at the end....
