Dollar Sign Prometric Cancellation Fees; Not Processed!

Hi,
I am confused about something please help me out.
My exam was on april second with an eligibility period that ends on April 30th.
I wanted to postpone my test date til June so I requested an eligibility period extension and paid the 65$ fee BEFORE I cancelled my date with prometric.
Then I went on prometric and cancelled my April 2nd date (I checked the rescheduling fee before i cancelled it was 50$ clicked back to cancel it), and my date was cancelled FOR FREE WITH NO FEE APPLIED.
Please was applying for an extension before the cancellation wrong? Now if I click on reschedule in prometric site it does says that my cancellation was verified. Is this normal?
The 50$ dollars I should pay prometric is paid upon cancelling or rescheduling? If it's paid upon cancelling why didn't I pay it?
What should I do next?

I thank you so much in advance

dun worry u have made no mistakes..
on reschudiling- u take a new date and pay the cancellation fees online itself..
on cancellation- u can cancel ur appointment for free.. now u have to call up prometric head office of ur country (eg- haryana for India) pay the cancellation fees by giving them credit card details (its safe, i myself have done it once).. only after paying the fees u will be able to reschedule ur appointment date

Hey cutie pie,

Ive contacted lebanon's prometric center (its in the netherlands!), but I didn't pay my fee yet.
When the fee is paid, we will be allowed to reschedule like we scheduled the first time for the step 1 that means for free too.
Anw this is all based on what forums, prometric's site, and the call center said. I do hope someone will speak of personnal experience.
Hope I helped. Gd luck

Yes i paid the 65$ to extend my eligibility period and finished my online demand theres still a form that i have mailed the ecfm to fully complete my extension request. All of this without paying prometric
I really think the ecfm and prometric are independant of each other. So I dn't think paying or not paying prometric will affect extending ur elegibility period but we won't be able to choose a new date unless we call prometric and pay them.

so to summarize:
1- Cancel your exam date
2- Log on ECFMG and request an eligibility period extension
3- Pay the 65$ to complete the online form
4- download the eligibility period extension form i think its 183 and mail it to ECFMG
5- Take a breather and be cool
6- When you get your extension period approved or before, call ur prometric center, give them ur credit card number and pay the cancellation fee
7- Reschedule whenever u like (I believe for free)
8- Take another breather and stay cool
9- Study your ass off

Good luck
