Offline NBME Score Prediction Formula

If someone gets, like 45 out of 50 correct in each block to a total of 180/200 how would you correlate that with predicted exam scores?

I know offline NBMEs don't say much but I got 179 out of 200 correct in NBME 7. According to the 1.4 formula, that estimates to a 3-digit score of 250.

Anyone else with similar results? I have three weeks to the exam, I'm trying to assess myself before doing an online NBME next week.

The only thing I can tell that when I took the NBME 13 online and got the score
the 1.4 formula was correct regarding my score.
I mean my correct answer *1.4 gave me almost the same final score.

Have you given your step 1? How was the correlation with the actual exam score?

Thanks!

Yes the no of correct questons times 1.4 is very close to the actual score.. but from my experience and research .. if you're getting a high score(like less than 30 incorrect) .. multiplying by 1.38 gives a more accurate result
