Hi Those are low scores but the most important thing is that you passed. reflect on what went wrong and re strategise for step 2CK, Iam retaking step one, my first attempt i failed it, so if you passed i think just get over the depression and go on. You will be a great physician

I think it depends on you visa status..if you are an IMG needing visa..anything below a 220 is low for internal medicine..in fact the university programs set a filter at 220 so even if you've to apply this much score is needed in step 1 and 2..but then again a 215 is better than a 205.. And many programs only ask for a passing score to be able to APPLY..to get matched is a different story..
But then you can improve in step 2 and 3.. And do all kinds of electives and research and get matched..I know one thing about usmle for sure..'if you have the patience and u want to get matched, you will'..just keep working hard..one test cannot decide everything..good luck..:)

It's a little lower for pedia..208 is not that bad for pedia..but programs are fewer and u need to show them you are interested in pediatrics and not applying just to keep it as a back up..and for that u need to have some observership and research experience and pediatric lor's from US doctors..plus improve on your ck score..get above 230 atleast..see the thing is IM and peds both consider step 1 and step 2 scores equally important..so u can make up for 208 by getting a good step 2 score ..but try to get some good lor's too..apply widely and in less than 5 years of your year of graduation..In fact the sooner the better..good luck
