High Yield Anatomy is a boring book
Switch to BRS Anatomy

Get 2 days off for refreshing that will also help

BRS Anatomy is nicer than Kaplan Notes and it has nice figures that will let you understand the topics much more easier.

Remember that the beginning is the most difficult part of the whole process. It's normal to start out slow. For instance, I spent my first month or even more reading only Biochemistry. By the 4th month I was done with all subjects.

If you have Kaplan videos, watch them while holding Kaplan notes, and annotating them. It's more interesting, albeit a little more time consuming, than just reading alone.

It will speed up dont worry. Just read HY anatomy in two days. When the pressure starts to ramp up, your capacity to read will as well. Good luck!

Get away from all distractions.. TV, Internet, Cell Phone, Parents.. even your girlfriend if you have 2.. whtever it maybe.. 2 chapters a week is wayyy 2 slow and your pretty much not going to learn anything.. Just seclude urself in a study room which you only use to study and you'll be going much more faster and will notice your studying will become much more effective.
