Question step 1 preparation for intern ?

In generally speaking , How many months does intern need for preparation ? hours/ day ? and what do you think about taking a day every week as a vacation?
I know it depends but in general

generally people take 4-6 months. But sometimes it can take up to 1.5 years if you dont know the concepts.

Default Same situation

hello guys, i am nearly in the same situation, I am graduate of 2008. would anybody pleeeaaaassseee tell me do i have chance if I start preparing for the exam now ?????

Taking a day off of studying is good.

If you are an intern you might need more than 6 months for preparation. Not sure in what situation you are in, but being an intern where I was an intern demands a lot of time and energy, leaves nothing for studying. I waited until finishing my internship, and took a 2 month vacation before preparing for the STEP 1

Im sorry in my above post I was refering to a non -interns study schedule. For an intern the study period will be much longer.

An intern who can have minimum6 hours study time a day would spend 6-9 months. Would not advise u to go beyound 9 months else u may be forgetting stuff u learnt earlier.
