Question NBME 7 Scored 228; Good or Bad?

hey so i'm an avid follower of this forum. been here for a while now. how's everyone doing?
i need some/any help/advise i can get. my exam is exactly a month away and i took nbme 7 today....scored 228. i dont think thats a good enough score compared to the high standards set by recent test takers. i think the exam is getting more and more competitive by the day, so only scoring above 235 or 240 can assure you that you're well prepared for the real deal.
which is why...i want your opinions on this. i really want to improve and have just a month to do that. how do i proceed? what things to focus on most and what not to waste time on at all.
study so far:
3 reads of fa
uworld solved once. planning to do marked and incorrect now. scored 66% on it.
just one basic first time read of kaplan with videos and goljan months back.
Now...how do i get to above 240/250 in my one month?? is it even possible or am i just fooling myself?
PLEASE HELP!!!

I still haven´t taken the STEP 1, but im 55 days away. I´ve seen that the NBME´s (specially the older ones like NBME 7) were regarded as more difficult some years back. The theory is that people are getting better at giving the NBME´s (not the USMLE), so they score higher. Ive seen 2011-2012 posts that said that NBME 13 was a beast, yet many people now get a good score on it.

My recommendation is to not panic. You still have 1 month, which is a lot to revise. I would suggest doing more questions and that way you will be revisiting high yield topics. I recently bought a Qmax question bank, and I think its pretty good (I already did Uworld). And you can create 8 hour long simulations (like the real deal). So do 4-5 of those simulations plus 1 or 2 NBME´s and you will gain the edge you need.

hey thank you so much for the motivational feedback! yes you are right...more questions really is the key...i felt that even during the nbme. that more practise on a certain kind of question would have certainly ensured i had answered it sooner and more confidentally. so i will have to finish uworld again asap and then get on with usmlerx. and yeah more nbmes like you said, should prepare me well. need to be smart and deft at this stage.
thanks a lot again. good luck with your prep!

no i had done more than half of kaplan before uworld, but that was very random, i hadnt taken notes or really focused on the explanations....big mistake. i thought uworld would be enough. evidently not in my case. so wil start on usmlerx now.
