Unhappy 2 weeks left !!! Need advice!

Hey guys I am new here.
I am giving my step 1 in 2 weeks. I gave 2 nbme's 7/11 and got 222 in both. The last one I took was 2 weeks back. I am really depressed as I am aiming for atleast >235. I am scared to take another nbme now.
I have done uworld 2 times and first aid atleast 4 times and still I am not getting there. I have done kaplan and goljan twice.
I dunno what more I can do in these 2 weeks! Please help!!!!!

Hi Dr , relax you are in good shape with your NBME scores . two weeks for working in weak areas is more than enough , so you must have changes in your scores i believe if u take another NBME , but this only if you were studying faithfuly and hit your enemy , and hope you did thet . so take NBME another one , and then do rough maths for avergae of those three , and u will ahve idea where u will be in real deal . though isnt principal , still possible to get higher than yar NBME score in real deal . good luck

hey dont be so scared. i am in the very same position so i know what you feel. my exam is about 3 weeks away, and i got a similar nbme score. so what we need to do in our limited time is try to understand from the nbmes where we went wrong most, and then focus on those topics. this should just be in addition to regular practice on uworld and fa revisions. we cant side step from that. right now i am doing dit, cuz some ppl really vouch on it improving their performance on the real exam. so i say give it a try, cuz even though it is time consuming, its atleast making us study FA so its worth our time. i just started on it, but hoping it would help me.
and i am equally panicked up and feeling lost most of the time and very alone in this study process, so thats why i come here on this forum. since you are new, you will find it useful to spare a couple of min on this and know that you are not alone.
take care and good luck!

Haha tell me about it! I can totally relate to that! Today I evaluated myself for anemia! And I wouldn't get the blood test for the same reason you wouldn't take an nbme. We're much better off not knowing right. Lol. But on a.serious note, it's all normal. And you are doing fine. Just keep going the same way. And build your confidence on that. You will hopefully perform much better on the real test.

But also I should mention that I am really nervous about the nbmes too, but I plan on taking as many as possible. So that I can be familiar with the actual questions that will be on the main test. Cuz a lot would be straight from nbmes. Well that's what I've thought for myself. But yeah there is a lott to do and just not enough time!

Not bad my friend that means u score 81.5% as correct answers.
With the offline table it correlates with approx 67% matching up with score of 228.
So work harder if that is not ur target. Of course remember that it's the online score of nbme that is always better!

I am freaking out myself but I would say if u have a problem with memorizing things then keep doing FA and uworld but if it's something u don't understand like any concept problem then read those topics from Kaplan or whatever book ur using.
Don't worry we can do this
