Help Improve Predicted USMLE 1 Score From 203

Hey I went to an IMG med school that did not prep me for Step 1 at all. I literally started studying from scratch. After watching Kaplan Videos, Listening to Golijan, Doing UWorld twice, and reading First Aid (by subject random order), I finally reached a 400(USMLE=200) on online nbme 7 two months ago.

I decided to focus on my weakest subjects for last 2 months and took another online nbme(11) and got a 410(=203 on USMLE). I must be doing something wrong. I have until July to take my Step 1 and would like some advice on what I can do to improve my score.

I have been told to just reread First Aid Back-to-Back a couple of times and I will see an improvement in my score, rather than focusing on my weakest topics. Will this be helpful? Any other ideas? Thank you

Trust me, a lot of US Med schools are no better in preparing you for the USMLE. The format of the exams I had at my school was very different from that on the USMLE.

The fact is that it is very hard to get to the national average 220. I had to study really hard just to get there, and from there it is a ton of work just to add 10 points at a time.

If you know First Aid really well, it covers 80-85% of the questions on the exam. Doing QBanks is a superior way to learn, however.
