Default What is everybody's STRATEGY when reading/studying Kaplan Lecture Notes?

I suppose most people just read straight from the book. Then watch the videos along with the Lecture Notes, and annote their Kaplan books. And then move on until they finish the entire series. And a second read means simply studying the annotated lecture notes again.

My style is a little different. I like to make my own notes from the Kaplan Notes. And then watch the videos, and use a red colored pen, to annotate 'my own' notes from the videos. When I'm done with that, I staple the pages together. And for me, a second read is scanning my 'own annotated notes'. Does anybody else learn/review/study from kaplan in this way?

Any other methods/strategies? I know some like to just watch videos only, or lecture notes only. imo, it's easy to lose track with lecture notes alone. the videos let you zone in on what's important, and not important.

Well I watch vedios then read notes. But I have seen that for some subjects reading notes be4 vedios is better for me. So no hard and fast rule to that. I hope to do a 2nd read of all notes but really fast about 1/3 0f time used during first read. In fact the first read for me is taking time becos I tend to get everything and I think it's key to acing the exams becos the few subject wise offline qbank I have solved show that taking time to understand the details help u answer questions well. But it eats away all ur time. I have been waiting for FA 2013 which I ordered online so I make simplified notes in the subjects themselves. These notes are simply my own understanding of difficult chapters. Then I move on. Also I highlight key points in the notes which I would have to recall before taking the exams, these I would focus during the fast read in the 2nd time.
Good luck.
