Question Should I take another UWSA or an NMBE exam?

I took UWSA1 ten days ago, and I planned to take UWSA2 tomorrow (already bought it), but hearing what people say about how it overestimates the score, should I go for an NBME exam instead?

My exam is 20 days away, and I planned to take UWSA2 tomorrow, NBME 6 after 10 days, and NBME 7 after 15 days. Should I do form NBME 3 instead of UWSA2?

What do you think?

Default your plan is fine

I think the main target is to practice.. I don't believe in "making a prediction". Practice will be achieved by any one of them... so it's better not to change your plan.. good luck

I think you have it right. Just practice and do what you were going to do.. Sounds like a great plan.

Default How are you doing?

It all depends on how you are doing on the exams you have already given...how did you do on the UWSA 1? and have you taken any NBME forms before? (if so, when and what was your score on them?)

Thanks guys.

I've just finished UWSA2, and what an exam it was! I almost started weeping in block 3 . Ironically, I got the same exact score of UWSA1, which is 570. Actually I thought I'd fail. A lot of topics I've never even heard about. It's like the examiner is choosing obscure material to put in his/her test. Weird. Last time I said I thought UWSA overestimates the score, but I'm withdrawing this now!

Will the actual exam be that difficult? or in other words, do the questions in UWSA tests reflect those that will appear on the actual exam?

Yes UWSA is nearer to the exam than the mainstream USMLE World questions. Your score is great. Go and take the exam.
