Help Urgent advice please

Hello and a very Good Morning to all of you,

I have been a passive reader of this forum for about a year now, but this is my first post. I am an old IMG and scheduled to take Step 1 on 29th of this month (My eligibility period ends on May 31st) however I still don't know if I am prepared well enough to take the exam on 29th and fare well i.e. 235+.

My usmleworld first pass was 70%. Now going through my second pass and scoring between 75-90%(1/2 done so far in second pass).
UWSA1 245 2.5 months ago, UWSA2 257 3 weeks ago.
My NBME 7 was 224 5 weeks ago
NBME 12 was 226 a month ago
NBME 11 and 13 both back to back as a simulated exam 3 days ago 235 and 247 respectively, however during the NBME 13 I realized that I had seen 4 questions and their answers earlier on some forum so I would not give much weight to 247 in NBME 13, I think if I were to minus those four correct answers from my NBME 13 score that would be a more fair result i.e. somewhere around 235. All the NBMEs were taken online standard pace.

As I have read on this forum, NBMEs are a good predictor for real score +/- 5, I am afraid, what if its -5 (God forbid)? Should I even appear on the exam on 29th or extend my eligibility period, postpone my exam and try to work even harder? I really want to score >235 esp because I am an old IMG with no USCE. Do I even have a chance of scoring 235 or not with these test scores if I don't extend?
Kindly give me your sincere opinion in this regard.

Warning! Relax!

Can't give a definite response, but this I know and this is true- you gotta calm down! Even if you extend your eligibility period and practice the nbme and get stellar scores, your anxiety can still make you flunk. If you feel you have to extend your eligibility period to beef up your scores, the by all means, do so. Better safe than sorry and regretful. The chances of img's with low or average scores getting into residency is getting slimmer and slimmer. An extra 3 months of practice is better than a retake or a low score. After all, this is your first step, so you haven't officially gotten into the race yet and shouldn't worry so much about gaps.
