Unhappy need advise on how to start

hi! i am a graduate of 1988 from Pakistan. ive been in the States for 18 yrs raising kids. Now my youngest is 12 and im embarking on the journey towards USMLE. I did start a couple of times before but never went past Physiology, allways giving up at the slightest distraction. I have the kaplan notes and videos. What i really want is advise as to how i should go about it. Ive seen a lot of U tube videos on the subject but they are for fresh graduates. If there is any one out there in similar shoes please advise me. Or do u think that it is foolish of me to try after so many years?

You are your own best judge bco none of us knows ur circusmstances as well as u do. You have the power to make decisions about your life and it seems like you have already made one. if you feel confused talk to your family. Usmle is a long journey, you will need their support.
Now how to start? I think the best way to start is to build your confidence that you can do it. That comes when you are studying sth you find easy. For me it is pathology. Once you finish a subject you will feel much relaxed and less confused :-) good luck
