Default Kaplan videos

Hi, just wondering how does everyone do Kaplan videos? Do you read the books first, read along with the videos, or read notes after the videos? I tried reading with the videos but can't seem to comprehend as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to spend a lot of time with just Kaplan. Thanks in advance.

i watch videos mostly. only when i feel the need for a book, i do read it. actually the videos are enough for a great score (i think) , but at times there is pure memorisation thing for which you gotta read the book. also for diagrams, you either pause the video and try to read and commit to memory or reffer to your book. once you have mastered all the videos by watching them several times, you can start mcqs ......

yes you have to read first aid before mcqs. also for pathology, dont use kaplan vids. use either pathoma or goljan.

I do it this way!
Watch vedios then read book. What I hv realized is most at times I am unable to answer the questions in the book 100% after vedios but do much better after the notes. Vedios alone is definitely not enough as far as I am concerned.
The straight forward chapters ( those without drawing or graphs et.) too I just read from the notes when I want to catch up with time but would want to see whether I missed something said in the vedios. In this case I watch vedios at minimum of 1.7 speed. So most of the times watch vedios before notes u go faster when reading notes after vedios.

I watch 1/2 hour or topic video then go for same topic in book. This works for me.
